The Operations Manager is responsible to lead, train and motivate the operations team to achieve desired results, as well as being an integral member of the team to ensure first class facilities and services are provided to all tenants. Management Responsibilities

This position performs daily building operations tasks such as preventative maintenance and building maintenance as well as liaising and addressing client issues and concerns. The position reports to the Site Supervisor and/or Property Manager.Key Deliverables

Qualifications
• Valid 3rd Class Power Engineers Certificate

Responsibilities

Qualifications
• High school diploma
• Valid Alberta 4th class Power Engineering certificate or equivalent
• Minimum 5 years hands-on experience with modern high rise building HVAC equipment (refrigeration machines greater than 1000 tons, heating boilers greater than 250 HP)
• Extensive experience with Building Automation Systems, plumbing, electrical, HVAC and Fire Systems
• Familiar with Occupational Health and Safety standards
• Mechanical/electrical/pneumatic/DDC troubleshooting and problem solving
• Familiarity with building code inclusive for HVAC
