"BOMA Edmonton is a professional organization that exists to serve the needs of its members. The organization will represent the industry to outside parties and act as a resource for information on issues relevant to the membership."

BOMA Edmonton offers its members an excellent opportunity to meet other professionals in their field on a social basis. Meetings provide members with a valuable forum for the sharing knowledge and information that assists with effective and efficient day-to-day operations.

 BOMA Edmonton Monitors and lobbies pertinent legislative, regulatory and codes/standards issues, including electricity deregulation, capital gains tax relief, telecommunications, indoor air quality, private property rights and risk assessment.

International Connection

Founded in 1907, BOMA International is the oldest and largest professional association representing the commercial building industry, with 100 Federated Associations in Canada, United States, and around the world. Companies and individuals benefit from the knowledge and experience of BOMA membership 18,500+ strong. BOMA International's members are building owners, managers, developers, leasing professionals, medical office building managers, corporate facility managers, asset managers, and the providers of the products and services needed to operate commercial properties.

Collectively, BOMA members own or manage more than nine billion square feet of office space, which represents more than 80 percent of the prime office space in North America!

BOMA is an excellent source of information on building development, leasing, market trends, operation costs, energy consumption patterns, local and national building codes, legislation, occupancy statistics and technological developments.

BOMA Edmonton has been in existence since the late 1960's and was incorporated under the Societies Act in 1982.
